Stalford Learning Centre is closely affiliated to Stalford Academy, and has a long history of more than 20 years. As a player in the local private education industry, Stalford Learning Centre has grown tremendously over the years, to a sizeable strength of 30 centres all over the island. Throughout the centre’s years of operations, it has seen the accelerated growth and development of many batches of students who have progressed on fairly well to institutions of higher learning. The success of many of the students at Stalford Learning Centre is a testament to the management’s commitment to deliver the promised quality education to our deserving students.

Mr. Lee is a successful and talented entrepreneur with a strong passion for teaching. In 2003 and 2004, he was appointed by the Nanyang Fellows Programme as a Co-Instructor for the course New Venture Creation – Entrepreneurship in Action which was designed by him. His overall rating in 2003 was 4.15 out of 5.00. In 2004, his overall rating was 4.26 out of 5.00. In 2004, he was appointed as co-instructor by Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre (https://www.ntu.edu.sg/ntc/home) of Nanyang Technological University (https://www.ntu.edu.sg) and it lasted till 2015. Having trained over 1200 students – including students in the top 5 junior colleges in Singapore in entrepreneurship and innovation, Mr Lee is frequently invited by local universities such as the National University of Singapore and the Singapore Management University to conduct lectures on entrepreneurship and innovation.

The Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), as set out under the Private Education Act and the Private Education Regulations, spells out the mandatory registration requirements and legislative obligations which all private education institutions, operating in and from Singapore, must meet. It is administered by the Committee for Private Education.
The Enhanced Registration Framework works to ensure that private education institutions in Singapore are of a certain acceptable standard to protect the interests of the students enrolled in their schools as well as to enhance the following aspects of the ERF:
Stalford Academy has been awarded the EduTrust Award (4 years) on 2 July 2013. It is an award that recognizes the effort of outstanding providers of private education committed to upkeeping superior standards in its programme delivery as well as excellence in structuring a comprehensive academic system. Stalford Academy has successfully renewed our EduTrust certification on 2 April 2018 for another four years.

Stalford Academy’s attainment of this quality assurance and certification framework is a testament of its commitment to deliver the best educational services to its students by maintaining superior standards in its program and academic system structure.
Stalford Academy has been established as an Independent Award Centre (IAC) in March 2018 to deliver the The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award to our students between the ages of 14 to 25 years old. The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a non-formal education and learning framework operating in more than 130 countries and territories around the world, through which young people’s achievements outside of academia are recognised and celebrated.
The Award comprises three levels and four sections and is designed to provide a balanced programme of personal development and challenge. Our international students get to explore Singapore and engage in Physical Recreation activities, learn some Skills and provide Voluntary Services to local beneficiaries. The award participants also take part in an Adventurous Journey where they would plan, train for and undertake a journey with a purpose in an unfamiliar environment.

As part of our commitment to students like you, here at Stalford, we aim to achieve the following service quality targets.
Various policies have been put in place to keep the delivery of quality service by the Academy in check, as well as to maintain and improve on the standards of educational services as well. These policies provide the necessary quality assurance by the Academy to its students.
All of the Academy’s teaching staff are being carefully selected through an extremely stringent process, as part of the Academy’s adopted pedagogy to integrate the curriculum with actual quality teaching. All of our teachers are also registered with the Committee for Private Education, in addition to possessing exemplary qualifications, competency and the requisite experience to deliver the courses. The Committee for Private Education (CPE) is part of SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
The teaching staff are constantly being assessed and evaluated through regular teacher evaluation sessions to ensure that these teachers are aware of the changes in course syllabus and requirements. Training is also provided to our teaching staff to ensure that their teaching methodologies are aligned to the school’s espoused pedagogy.
The curriculum of our courses are specially designed and tailored to the needs of our students to ensure that the expected learning outcomes are being imparted to them. The designed curriculum is also constantly subjected to reviews and revisions to keep it parallel to the latest changes in syllabus while also taking into account the suggestions and feedback from our students.
The Academy’s administrative and customer service staff undergo regular trainings and upgrading programs to renew their know-how on providing frontline services, thereby ensuring that they always deliver the best services to all of the Academy’s students. Frequent reviews are also being performed to keep the service standards of these frontline staff in check by ensuring their professionalism and on-task attitude in the process of service delivery.
At Stalford Academy, we believe that a positive learning experience is often associated with the conduciveness of the learning environment. In ensuring that we provide such conduciveness in the learning environment provided to our students, we conduct regular inspections and surveillance on all common facilities and equipments in the Academy to make sure that these facilities are being maintained at its best. Furthermore, where necessary, the Academy will revamp and upgrade its facilities accordingly to provide its students with the best learning outcomes.
The Academy seeks to achieve utmost credibility and consistency in all of its representations in the form of publicity materials including, but not limited to its brochures and website. Appropriate and relevant policies, such as refund, transfer and withdrawal policies are being put in place in the event of cancellation, non-completion, termination of course or breach of the Standard Student Contract.
